At Daxie Dens, we offer a range of services to meet the needs of small dogs and dachshunds. Whether you need a safe and comfortable place for your furry friend to stay while you’re away, or just want to give them some extra socialization and playtime during the day, we’ve got you covered.
Our services include full-day daycare options, as well as overnight boarding for when you need to be away for longer periods of time. Each of our services is designed with your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness in mind.

Conditions
Trials
A minimum of two day care sessions are required before a trial overnight stay is needed before booking in any boarding. Owners must be available at all times during the trial period, should the visit need to come to an end.
Day care is flexible around times to suit the owner, and we do operate these on a weekend too.
Trial Night visit starts from 5pm – 9am the next morning. Later pick ups available for an additional
charge.
No bookings will be made until the Trial period is successfully complete.
Please note, we can refuse any future stays should the trial night not be suitable for your dog or us. Full feedback will be given if a trial night is not successful and should the dog receive professional training or veterinary support, we may agree to retry the visit.
Overnight stays
Rates are charged from Day 1 till 9am the next morning. Charges apply for each day. Any
dog not collected by agreed time, will incur late charge fees.
Pick Up/Drop Off
All pick up and drop offs are to be conducted between 8am-8pm. We recommend drop offs
are before 5pm so the dog has time to settle before bedtime. Times must be pre booked in
advance.
Late Pick Ups
Any additional hours will be charged at the late fee rates (per dog). Please be aware any
unplanned late collection of your dog, may lead to your emergency contact being called
upon to collect your dog, as additional unplanned care is not guaranteed and may
compromise our license. We will do our best to support in these emergency cases.
Early Pick Ups
Should you wish to end your dog(s) stay with us early, charges will still apply for the full
agreed termed of the stay. There will be no refunded cost for early pickups if not arranged
up to 28days prior to the stay.
Public/ Bank Holidays
Additional charges apply for public and bank holidays. These include Easter, Spring and
Summer bank holidays, Christmas and New year.
Emergency Dog care
Subject to availability but is available to support in emergency care for last minute requests.

Price Increases
Daxie Den will review prices every year in line with service needs and requirements, and in
line with inflation. Increases will be communicated in advance via social media platforms and website. Any stays confirmed and deposit paid will be honoured at booking price, if remained unchanged.
Please note that additional fees may apply for grooming services, veterinary care, or other
requested service or required.
